Living with earthquakes is a hard thing to do especially if you are poor and and living in an earthquake prone countries like Japan, Nepal, Turkey, Mexico, El Salvador, Pakistan, Philippines, Ecuador and India. these are the 10 most earthquake prone countries in the world (in no particular order). Many of the countries have strict building rules so that they will hopefully survive an earthquake.
How To Live In An Earthquake Prone Country
These countries have to be strict about their building codes unless the county is too poor so that means the buildings with good building codes stay upright and the ones that don't come crashing down and create destruction and many people die. These countries also have to teach children to do special things when earthquakes do strike. like duck and cover which means to go into a ball and hide under a firm object like table or bed. These plans also assess the danger of earthquake triggered disasters such as tsunamis, floods, fires , landslides and avalanches.
Would I Like to Live With Earthquakes?
No, I would hate to live in an earthquake prone country because it would be scary knowing a fiece eathqake coud knock buildings down and strike at any time. It could kill me and my friends!!!! Aftershocks also scary because I could be rellieved the earthquake is over and then an after shock suddenenly goes ahead and shakes the earth and freaks people out even killing some people.
